This annual learning event was co-organized by the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture [SEARCA] and the HEAD FOUNDATION with this year’s theme “DESIGNING AND LEADING YOUR UNIVERSITY TO THE DESIRED FUTURE”. Now on its 6th year, the program continually aimed to provide a learning platform for future academic leaders who are working on research, extension and innovations that promote agricultural and rural development among ASEAN’s member nations.
Dr. Picardal’s REAP focuses on capacitating farmers on innovative and sustainable harvesting approaches for Philippine cinnamon, a promising agricultural commodity that recently gained support from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
